Pete is an accomplished, innovative and multiple award-winning distinguished entertainment veteran with over 30 years of experience, a trusted spiritual leader, an author & broadcaster, and multi-talented creative force.. He has made a lasting impact in music, media, ministry, and mentorship and has inspired audiences across generations through his artistry and thought leadership. As a musical pioneer, his groundbreaking achievements have created a path for many of leading artists.
Beyond his musical contributions, Dr. Odera is a passionate advocate for the intersection of faith, technology, and creativity. His work as a minister and mentor has guided many in their personal and professional journeys, helping them navigate the ever-evolving leadership landscape while staying rooted in purpose, founding the Waterbrook Ministry and The Ixos Institute, a training and mentorship organisation he now heads.
He is married to his wife Christine for 25 years and has two adult daughters.
Pete Odera is also the co-founder of the Kisima Awards, Kenya’s equivalent of the Grammy Awards.
